Welcome to Skarlett Sunset!

Hi, I’m Skarlett, a young artist, designer and maker living on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW. Skarlett Sunset began in 2022, when I was just 15 years old. My mum encouraged me to take some of the jewellery I had been creating to a local market. I loved the experience of sharing my work and connecting with customers, and from there, Skarlett Sunset was born. What began as a small collection of earrings and bracelets has continued to grow and evolve. My creations have included hand-drawn cards, original paintings and drawings, crocheted Worry Pets, handmade jewellery, sewing projects and my *Skarred by the Sea* collection. This collection features family portraits, artworks and jewellery incorporating sea glass locally sourced from Central Coast beaches. Because everything is handmade, my products are constantly changing and no two pieces are exactly alike. I enjoy experimenting with new materials, learning new skills and finding different ways to bring my ideas to life. I have completed a Certificate II in Design and Apparel and am currently studying towards my Certificate III. In 2026, I was also thrilled to receive a Highly Commended award at the Sydney Royal Easter Show for my crocheted artwork representing the Great Barrier Reef. While I no longer attend markets on a regular schedule, I still participate in selected local markets and events throughout the year.
